Elisa Invitational will offer two spots at BLAST Premier Fall Showdown instead of one, as originally announced. Lyngby Vikings, the runners up at the Dust2.dk League Cup, have received an invite to the upcoming Elisa Invitational after a spot was left open by ENCE, who relinquished their berth in the BLAST Premier Fall Showdown qualifying tournament when Jani "Aerial" Jussila stepped down from the active roster to take medical leave. The tournament organizers have now reseeded the four-team groups following the addition of the Danish squad and revamped the schedule to accommodate the new fixtures. Another change to the schedule is the elimination of the tournament's grand final since two teams will now make it to the BLAST Premier Fall Showdown instead of one, making the semi-finals the qualifying match. ![]() The new groups have three of the four Danish teams in Group A, where HEROIC, MAD Lions and AGF will be fighting amongst each other and against the Norwegians of Apeks, who recently signed Joakim "jkaem" Myrbostad after 100 Thieves pulled out of CS:GO, for two spots in the semi-finals. Group B is headlined by GODSENT, who will be going up against the last-minute invites, Lyngby Vikings, in their opening match. Opposite in the GSL group stage bracket will be HAVU and Dignitas. The group stage, with BO1 opening and winners' matches followed by BO3 elimination and decider matches, will take place on October 26-29 before giving way to the last day of competition on November 1, when the two semi-finals will be played and the winning teams will punch their tickets to the BLAST Premier Fall Showdown.
